Technical requirements: devices, minimum versions and network

Motiview works on Windows PCs and tablets, Android tablets and iPads. Motiview does not work on mobile phones.

Motiview is designed for touch screens, but also works on PCs without one.

Android tablet

Android 7 or newer.
Tablets only. Motiview can't be installed on Android phones.
We recommend tablets with USB-C that support connecting to an external screen.

iPad

iPadOS 15.6 or newer.
iPad only. Motiview can't be installed on iPhone.
We recommend an iPad with USB-C.

Connecting to the TV

A tablet needs an HDMI adapter to show the videos on the TV. We recommend USB-C to HDMI adapters that also charge the tablet, for example from Belkin. If you use Apple's adapter, turn off HDR in the iPad's settings.

Storage

Downloaded videos take up space on the device. If you will use Motiview a lot without internet, we recommend at least 256 GB of storage.

Network and firewall

Motiview needs internet to stream and download videos, save cycling sessions and stay up to date. Motiview also works without internet, but then only with videos that are downloaded.

If your IT department blocks traffic, Motiview needs access to these domains over ports 443 and 80:
