Reports and statistics: activity per cyclist and downloading to Excel
View cycling sessions, follow each cyclist's activity and progress, and download the report from the customer portal
In the customer portal you can see all the cycling sessions logged at your site, follow each cyclist's activity and progress, and download the report to Excel or Google Sheets.
Opening the cycling report
- Log in at portal.motiview.com. See Customer portal or app: which login do I use? if you need help logging in.
- Choose Cyclists in the menu.
- Click Cycling report next to your site.
- Choose a period under Start and End, and click Update.
The report shows one line per cycling session, with start time, licence, cyclist, gender, age bracket, duration, km, resistance and active %. Click a column heading to sort, and click again to sort the other way.
Seeing each cyclist's activity and progress
Tick Group by cyclist name. You then get one line per cyclist, with their total duration and distance for the period you chose.
To follow one cyclist over time, you can for example get the report for each month and compare.
Downloading the report
- Open the report and choose a period, as described above.
- Click Download.
The report downloads as a CSV file. If you have ticked Group by cyclist name, you get the summary per cyclist.
- Excel: Double-click the file. If the columns aren't split correctly, open Excel and use Data → From Text/CSV, and choose semicolon as the delimiter.
- Google Sheets: Choose File → Import, upload the file, and choose semicolon as the separator.
Good to know
- Cycling sessions logged from More → Log activity without watching a video have no duration. Only the distance is saved.
- Some columns, such as resistance, may be empty.
- Cycling sessions logged without internet appear in the report once the device has been connected to the internet.
- If you can't see Cyclists or the report, the data processing agreement may not be accepted, or your user may not have access. See Managing cyclists in the customer portal.
