# Finding videos: search by place, country or town, and favourites

## Find a video from a particular place, browse the home screen, and save favourite videos

Motiview has videos from places all over the world. You find them on the home screen, by searching for a place, or among your favourites.

### The home screen

On **Home**, the videos are sorted into rows, for example:

- **Favourites** – the videos you have saved as favourites.
- **Downloaded videos** – videos that are downloaded and can be played without internet.
- **Nearby** and **Latest videos nearby** – videos from places near you.
- **Explore the world**, **New videos**, **Most watched** and **World's most viewed**.

Swipe sideways in a row to see more videos. Tap the row's heading to see all the videos in it.

### Searching for a place

1. Tap **Search** in the menu at the bottom.
2. Under **Where do you want to travel?**, type the name of a place, municipality, county or country in the **Search Motiview** field.
3. Choose one of the suggestions that appear.

The results are grouped by place, municipality, county and country. Tap **More** to see all the videos in a group.

The search finds places. You can't search by theme, such as Christmas or beaches. If a search gives no results, there are no videos from that place yet.

You need to be connected to the internet to search. Without internet you will see *Please connect to the internet to search for videos*, but you can still play videos that are downloaded.

### About a video

Tap a video to see its title, length in minutes, when it was filmed and where it is from. Here you can:

- tap **Play video** to start the video
- tap **Download** to download the video so it can be played without internet
- tap the heart to save the video as a favourite

### Favourites

Tap the heart on a video to save it as a favourite. Favourites are shown first on the home screen, in the **Favourites** row. Tap the heart again to remove the video from your favourites.

Favourites belong to the licence. Devices logged in with the same licence see the same favourites. If a department has its own licence, it also has its own favourites.
